Does It Have To Be Forever? I am in a space that no-one can see. It has neither shape nor form. It just is. No-one knows how I feel. They just think they do. Even if I tell them, they can only nod. Empathy, understanding, sympathy. All adjectives rolled into one. It is here within me, and it tears at me, and I try to treat my feelings kindly and I try not to lose myself in my vortex. Ripping and tearing at the sinews of my flesh, I beat myself up looking inwards. These muscles, these bones, this heart know the answer. And yet I must be still. I must be quiet. I must yell into the wind to rage against those that do not want me. ...my children. |
Additional Notes:
Okay. Call it self pity if you want. If you cannot stand this type of
self disclosure, then please do not comment. These are MY feelings. Please
do Not challenge me. Thank you.
