STREET SCENES

Watching folks as they go by, will make you laugh, sometimes cry. Come rest awhile; sit down with me, enjoy the street scenes you will see. a baby carriage pushed by a nurse- a fast thief snatching a woman's purse. a homeless guy with a cart of rags- a lady walking with a Wal-Mart bag. a policeman mounted on a horse- a wig blown off by a windy force. a small tyke holding a big balloon- a teen-age girl, baby coming soon. a hip hop guy with a loud boom-box- a car ignoring the sign to stop! a mother holding a toddler's hand- a hippie sporting an orange head-band. a business man, eyes straight ahead- a cool street-walker, hair startling red. a well-dressed dame smoking a cigarette- a low flying plane, not airborne yet. a priest walking by with a harried look- a zit-faced kid stealing a comic book. a shrieking child with a big beach ball- a small dog running toward his master's call. a pot-bellied man tipping his hat- a home run hit with a broom-stick bat. But the grandest thing you'll see this day, Is the sun going down in the eastern bay.
