The Pirate Ship Gypsy Queen

The Gypsy Queen was long and lean, the fastest ship afloat, not long ago though she looked mean, a ramshackle old boat. Mad Jack bought her for ten doubloons and an old speckled goat, hid her behind some seaside dunes, till she donned a new coat. A momentous task to fit her, so she could sail with pride, her spars were bent, her sails were rent, she listed to one side. A crew of slaves came with the ship, and one old rusty gun, Jack fed them well and bound their wounds, and freed them everyone. The work pressed on they didn't shirk, stopped only for a meal, then Mad Jack gave her something new, a coat of hardened steel. Her eclectic crew was gentle, to fight they had no need, Ten guns mounted port and starboard, a fearsome sight indeed. The work completed, sails unfurled, her majesty appeared, black sides bursting with strength and speed, a ship everyone feared.
