A Shining Identity

Free now that child bound tightly, hid by shame for we should fill with fire in the night to burn with wonder, shining in our name. A child lies helpless before adult blame the child of love is free to grow, take flight. Free now that child bound tightly, hid by shame. Good children are we all at birth, our name is Joyous as we grow to love and life, to burn with wonder, shining in our name. The grownups who have choice and chose to maim their children's souls to teach them, are not right: Free now that child bound tightly, hid by shame. Our children are but gifts to share, a chain that stretches  through eternity, brings light to burn with wonder, shining in our names. So we, who find ourselves in ancient pain must break this cycle, and within this fight free now that child bound tightly, hid by shame to burn with wonder, shining in our name.
