Inspiration wanted!

I write of strangers that I spy, with charm and grace - the stimuli;   and then to see my ego fed, I might play out a bit of thread that hopefully will prompt reply: A word of thanks, perhaps a sigh.   (If she allows a 'touched' or 'blessed'...I create like a man obsessed!) It's not the innocent I seek, or those considered shy or meek;   but rather if the truth be told - they're really confident and bold. Although their 'beauty' calls to me, they must of greater substance be,   for once I've written of their shell - there's got to be some more to tell. My lyrics paint a picture true, of what I've seen when all is through;   yet those who read what I've decreed...may see her differently indeed. But only I with crypt intent, can know exactly what I meant   upon that day when work was penned, from single memory - or blend. Mostly clean but sometimes naughty, I write of her comely body,   drawing from a recollection - of that prior intersection; which I cleverly put 'way till it comes to writing-day   when I sit with pen a'poised - and hearken to an inner-voice. Memory-manipulation then constructs a constellation,   while the hatching of a theme comes upon me like a dream; then something wills the pen to move and make ink-rivers in the grooves   which tied together form the words that swoop and glide like playful birds. A first poem oft' is pure-specific, of a part I've judged 'terrific'   with perhaps a hint of features - unique only to this creature. When my memory's depleted then the work might be completed,   'less I add some hopes or guesses...like 'true' color of her tresses. It helps if there's continuum, and she could add a speck or crumb   of anything that might augment the thoughts I had - when first we met. If willing to communicate, I'd gather up what she relates   then fill more pages with my verse...with those new 'treasures' coming first. Her 'interest' and my 'motivation', work in tandem stimulation:   What I see goes into scripture - while she e'er expands the picture. Willingness to tend my fire; reaping what she doeth inspire:   Perhaps just over yonder crest - is one to satisfy my quest!

Mightn't this be the quest of every poet? Not the subject naturally - but.......
