The Hole In My Soul

There's a hole in my soul and it lets love leak out,      Leaving me feeling dismal and gray. For a soul low on love is a sad soul - no doubt,      It’s the soul that may lead one astray. But this hole in my soul sometimes lets love seep in,      And it’s then that my heart beats like new. For a soul rich in love is a soul without sin,      It’s the soul that will always be true. Now since love comes and goes from this hole in my soul,      I feel my soul may soon become cracked. I must seek out a friend to help me close this hole,      So my whole soul will be quite intact.
