visible living exposed living naked living                   on Butternut Street                   on my way to work                   and on my way back home God set me up in '82 Home here.....shop there.....Butternut connects               Choose to use it and serve life.               Random lives in need on the curb               24 hours a day.                               Not me I fooled God. I dispense daily doses of drive by empathy. And so today I did: drive...glance....drive...glance...drive..glance                     She was standing there                            back to the street                               92 degrees                       WINDOW SHOPPING                                                        Sunday afternoon- store is closed.                       WINDOW SHOPPING drive...glance...drive...visualize...drive...rationalize long, stringy, blond-gray hair big girl----------older girl         woman baby blue, long sleeved, sweat shirt              gray sweat pants                  tennis shoes staring---studying---wishing-------focused @ the window of the Salvation Army Resale Store in the window, a mannequin in a wedding dress                         drive by empathy                      drive by hope                      drive by curiosity                    "God, will I get points for that?"
