Flesh Tone Poem

It's the most natural of things the way it curves and moves to the rhythm of each breath, while the moonlight reflects off of it's cream surface as if that were the light's sole destination... its only purpose. It invites me to explore and I obey... but your thoughts get in my way and stop me short of mapping that flesh-contained expanse where your breath and moonlight dance a sublime choreography. God how I long to be just a witness, though I must admit I'd rather dance with it and know its soft ivory span; this flesh you wish, for whatever reason, to be firm and flat and tan.
