OPENING CAST

Oh Lord, It says in the Proverbs, "When there is no vision people perish." So when I'm here on Your river, There are many sights for me to cherish. Often times, I fish here, Or I sit along the riverbanks. Always appreciating peace and beauty. In solitude, I give You thanks. Nowhere ever seems more enticing, Or lets my spirits grow. I envision poetry in motion, As I watch Your river flow. The water is so inviting, As I hear it's soothing rumble. It's also made me realize, A man's place on earth is only humble. So Lord, I pray You'll wade with me, We'll work our way downstream. You can guide me to, and even witness, That big trout, which I dream.
