Echoes of Eternity

Across the night thunder rolls, a clock strikes, a bell tolls. Calling out to me, the echoes of eternity. A bitter rain begins to fall, a hollow wind; I hear all. Reaching out for me, are echoes of eternity. I lie lonely in the dark, empty in, save my heart crying out. I see it echoes of eternity. The last I hear is in my head, a door closing, a love dead. There's nothing left for me but, echoes of eternity.
