More smoke - More mirrors

Take me with you. Teach me, guide me, tell me what you know. Teach me to do as you do, and not as you say, And please - don't go away again. I need your strength, that silent inner strength That you are afraid to show me. I need to know how to grow (up)as a man. Where and what are your feelings, and why are they locked up? Teach me with love, and teach me with courage. Take my hand, and show me. Show me the way. Show me the mountain top, and show me that inquisitiveness, And show me how to put it all together. I want to be like you, in some ways. Maybe not in all your business ways, but show me - anyway. Not enough time for me ... your loss ... my loss ... everyone's loss. The little boy inside me is dying 'cause I have to grow up too soon. What were your dreams, your needs unfulfilled? I need to know! I want your strong arms around me, and tell me it's okay. Where are you when I need you - Dad?

Additional Notes:
Dedicated to the memory of my Dad who died too young, when I was too young. 38 years later, I am starting to grieve him.
