Conscious Interlude

Breath, the in and out of air. Conscious breath, the thought of here not there. Inspiration slowly, in the moment, now. Exhale slow, with purpose, pay attention, this is how. Beginning meditation, seated, eyes relaxed and closed. Empty mind of contents, intention, letting go, supposed. Focus on the nothingness, the empty, incomplete. At first we find it difficult, not an easy feat. Interuptions, mindless thought, continue to intrude. Just focus back on breath again, a conscious interlude. Darkness, empty journey, searching for the light. Stay right in the moment, simple awareness, then delight. Don't have to do this perfect, just empty mind of thought. No input from the critic, no should or could or ought. Centered breath, ahhhhh, breathe again, moments seem to fly. Meditation magic, self mastered way to high.
