A Mother's Love If ever there was beauty, it would be a mother’s love… Her eyes reveal her passion, her strength from God above. One word could be spoken, sacrifice it would be. Expressing ever effort, that she bestowed on me. A hand to grasp for compassion, an eye to watch my ways. A tender sturdy shoulder, to take away the grays. If ever there was beauty, it would be a Mother’s love… Her eyes reveal her passion, her strength from God above. Pushing me to achieve, What she knew I could attain. proud to see me growing, So much insight I did gain. Watching carefully as I Struggled, with what she had seen before. Helping me get through it, just as she had once before. If ever there was beauty, it would be a Mother’s love… Her eyes reveal her passion, Her strength from God above. A teacher in so many ways, every subject her specialty. She gave a strict rulebook God’s wisdom she showed to me. She unfolded a world beyond herself, Others needs were always true. A wonderful idea of how to live… It’s not always about you. If ever there was beauty It would be a mother’s love… Her eyes reveal her passion, Her strength from God above Now I call her friend, A companion is what I see. She knows deep within, She has a friend in me. |
