Routine

The house is quiet except for the ticking of the clock. It's been one hell of a day I'm tired and it's hot. Toys are scattered through out the house there's sticky finger prints on the door. Candy is stuck on the living room couch a piece of gum is stuck on the floor. Dinner dishes are still in the sink the bathtub still has a ring, furniture needs to be dusted ashtrays need to be cleaned. Now as the child lays sleeping I'll start my cleaning in the den for morning is soon approaching and my routine will start again.
