Transform Yourself

Why is it that sometimes we feel really really good and other times we feel putrid? I want to know. Why?  How can something so  frivolous and, for all practical purposes, meaningless change  they way we think, act and  even as far as the way we live? My life is constantly changing. Your life too, I’m sure, is  changing. What if the next time a life-altering event  barrels us over like a two-ton amazon elephant we look it  square in the eye and say, “No! I will never again be subject to change simply because of you!” That won’t happen though. No, we will simply let ourselves be shaped like plastic to the form of the great beast. Not because we want to, but because we think we have to. That is troubling.  If we only knew that we were not forced to take part in that transformation, then our eyes  would truly be open to our soul.
