"Does Your Soul Need A Saving?"

Some children are lost and into street gangs,      Doing hard drugs, making themselves a name, Or so they believe. That's what their friends said.      "You can be somebody!" They are so misled. "Parents rejected me so here I am,      Hating the world, that's my monogram!" Being mixed breeds, yellow, red, black, or white,       It's hard to understand who's wrong or right. They feel something missing out of their life,      Then take the wide road with all of it's strife. They can't perceive what their hearts are craving;                     My friends,      There's a soul out there that needs a saving. A man and wife once joined hand in hand,      She gets the house and kids, he gets the land. Going their separate ways, wondering why.      Two lives are torn apart. He starts to cry. She will not trust him. He dares not trust her,      But it's a wondrous day for "Lucifer". They cannot comprehend their misbehaving;                    Brothers and Sisters,      There's a soul out there that needs a saving. A bright, young man is pursuing his dreams,      Trying so hard to survive the mainstream. He's lost one job right after the other.      Nobody seems to care, nor his mother. He gets hard pressed and thinks of suicide.      It's been a long haul, but a very short ride. "What good has it done, all of my slaving?"                    My dear Pastor,      There's a soul out there that needs a saving! You get perturbed in the congregation.      The Rev. is preaching on fornication. You are in the fast lane with no way out.      You said you're gonna' change without a doubt. When will that change come? You don't even know.      It's another hot date... and so it goes. You lose control with your hormone's raging;                    My friend,      Maybe you're that soul that needs a saving. Christians must unite as one religion.      Let's do His will...but, it's your decision. Follow God's plan, your name he's engraving.                    You see,      They're so many souls that need a saving.

Additional Notes:
The apparent break in the rhythym's consistency was done intentionally. I did this in order not to give my verse a sing - songy type of impression with my readers. I hope that this won't disappoint you. I wrote this poem after the Combine High School tragedy in Colorado. Thank you for your critiques.
