The Art of Infidelity

Seated on your soapbox, a crowded restaurant sets the scene; you're so masterful at selecting the site, to confess your casual crimes. Opera-masked apologies, under shaved rinds of lust; the preferred props of cheaters, and unwilling supporting stars. How poetic! infidelity dipped in chocolate, the well-versed script of deception; an almost perfect performance, deserves applause of absolution. But an audience rising to stand, does not make for an ovation; sorry if my silence preempts your program, but I prefer my lunch with layman's lies.
