Only A Shadow Come on out into the light Where I can see your face And read your eyes. Do not stay hidden in the night Feeling out of place Believing lies. What you feel is near to fright For you need space Or freedom dies. You are not ready for the flight But steady for the race Your heart denies. I will soon give up this fight And leave without a trace Of binding ties. |
