Luann's eyes.....

Two Dentists are sure that I must procure - a periodontal procedure: It's there that I spy, two beautiful eyes, affixed to a lovely she-creature. Sure hard to negate the presence of 'fate' when blessings fall out of the skies; And how can I fight the edict to write...when happenstance sends me a 'prize'?                Their color's between a gold and a green;                Near cat-like in hue and in sheen.                But as she looks down, two 'emeralds' are found...                And right where those 'agates' had been.                There's no naivete' in her re'sume':                Her eyes speak a confident tone.                Though humble if praised - pride shows in her gaze;                For compassion and mercy she's shown.                Occasional rains of sorrows and pains                Have nourished a small spray of pleats:                Each line represents - a wisdom and strength                She needed...to make her complete.                I cling to my breath, and gaze to their depth                While teetering close to the brink.                Though thrilled to my core, I'm wary to soar,                And pause now to weigh...and to think:                How far might one swim if he could dive in,                'Fore reaching her innermost side?                Or further to stroll, the path to her soul,                Where all of her mysteries hide? The honor to 'see' was ample for me, and encouraged this little rhyme. I wonder what more that I could proffer - if given the notion and time? But sans her request - I'd never aggress: which tells of my gentle-man's state. While choosing to pass, I fear that, alas...somehow I'm discrediting...fate!
