Adsum Domini

Here I am, Lord, I surrender my spirit bowed at Calvary's Hill. An empty vessel, fill me brimming with the knowlege of thy will. Guide my steps unto Salvation firm and steady on Thy path, for this moment, for this hour save me from Addictions' wrath. When I falter in my journey give me strength to struggle on, let me gain by giving others word of how it can be done. Thank you Lord, for this day sober for this good life, although there's pain, and for Your will to make me whole not just an empty glass again.

Additional Notes:
In the Roman Catholic Church, in the making of a priest, the candidate lies prostrate before the altar and speaks these words. "Adsum Domini" They are the very first words of the ceremony. "Here I am Lord"
