My love and White Horse (heroin)

That white has stolen you away from me He made promises to you that no mortal could keep He said you would find paradise But instead you found needle tracks to despair His lies took you like so many others in the past, And will take so many more in the future His love was a good love at first But the path to nirvana led to the space between your toes And you knew you were his captive I prayed for you, but you and your white horse broke my sprite My promises were never so bold as his But the depth of my love was boundless The white horse promised you a world with out hurt But delivered more pain and suffering than you could imagine
