Love Was

Love was the fire That burned in my heart You were the reason  It began to spark But you took my dream And you tore it apart Love was in the passion  That I felt for you Though I know you never loved me too Love was what I felt When we were together You made my spirit float like a feather But nothing lasts forever Love was the light That showed me through dark Now that love is done  It's like trying to see Without the sun I cant find my way In darkness I stray I will never fall in love again you may hear me say Love is whats gone And will never return When I realize it's true My soul will burn
