GUILTY PLEA

Lord, sometimes I see a vision,   sometimes I don't like what I see. As I peer through the parting clouds,   to see Your eyes stare back at me. Often times I feel their dampness,   Your teardrops of falling rain. I feel the sadness they are watching,   to know I made them 'cry' in pain. Often in each one's failures,   I know too often, You've been blamed. I confess, I must also 'plead guilty'   and for that too, I am ashamed. I never meant to cause You, nor anyone,   such hurt, or pain or sorrow. I can only offer hope and a prayer   together, we shead sunshine tomorrow.                                    Amen
