PEACE As the elusive winds of summer's eve Is man's fervent quest for lasting peace Upon a trail of innocent blood they ride Fraught with vanity, greed and human pride Peace, as a banner, enshrouds their dark deeds Pale riders astride their ghostly white steeds Grant, oh Lord, before civilization dies Man may truly realize Peace is not a prize to be won Nay, but a wonderful gift from a merciful God! |
