The Bridge to Tarabithia

There is a place that one can go to cross a mythical span, and grace a shore on distant land not seen by likes of man. It is a sacred place, a secret world where darkness cannot prevail, a place not unlike Eden that only the Sun could pale. A place to go in time of sorrow not bound by pain or grief, to find that ever calming peace and the joy of relief. A place to shout for victory or to hide from one's defeat, no enemies could enter there, no fear your soul could greet. There is no better place to go with troubles to be free of, than the magical trip through the maze of your mind, to the Bridge of Tarabithia

Additional Notes:
My little grandaughter brought home a book from school, called The Bridge at Tarabithia. it was about a little girl who lived on a farm by a bridge, and it was her hiding place when she wanted to be alone. The teacher wanted her to write something about the book. She asked me to help, this was the outcome.
