Yesterdays News

Yesterday a mother died who overdosed on drugs, perhaps she was one of many swept under societies rugs. She left behind a family what was she thinking of? she had a husband and children who needed all of her love. The children she nourished at birthing, a husband she once did admire, all lost in the throws of oppression given up for a newfound desire. I wonder if she would have listened had someone tried to explain, that everyone has their own burdens in life but they don't throw their lives down the drain. They don't leave hearts to be broken or children in dire need of hugs, for they fought back the depression walked away from the carnage of drugs. I pray that she'll be forgiven as she crosses that spiritual line, For God, and he only can forgive her for the misery that she left behind.

Additional Notes:
It is sad when you read these things, but they do happen. I'm sure I'll get slack on my rhythm, but this is the way it came out.
