Clear and Present Danger

Heady thick and viscous like the first sip of juice after a long fast when you can taste the whole apple orchard dancing Heavy warm and yielding a sack filled with scraps of blankets wrested from the small arms of children sleeping Handy a wet cloth pre-dampened and antiseptic on a hot day in a field of nettles stinging Hearty a thick dream blended with the corporeal proximity of you, standing on the porch beaming
