Love Letter

My dearest darling, while sitting here in deep meditation, my mind wanders off into a calm daze of you. My pen takes to my hand, to write you these few lines, knowing that you may never look upon them, but if you do, please think of sincerely as if I were there. The hours fly by, dark clouds obscure the sky, how I wish we were together, right now just you and I. As the overwhelming distance keeps the two of us apart, I feel released to tell you, theres a void within my heart. As I gaze here at your picture, and the memories it stores, I feel to be a prisoner by remaining truly yours. And I shall be in bondage until the day you set me free, by telling me my darling, that you want no part of me.

Additional Notes:
I wrote this when I was very young. The girl that I was in love with, came from a well to do family who did't want their daughter to be with someone of a poor background, like me. This is just put her on a whim, still it is poetic so here it is.
