In My Arms

For Candy in memory of Matthew Taylor God placed you in my arms,  And I held you tight. I rocked you every morning, And on through the night. You can not stay, And we understand. But you will always be Momma's little man. From Heaven above, In the arms of the angels, You will wait for me, Away from all dangers. I know you know,  But just let me say, Sweetheart we'll love you  Till our dieing day. When that day comes, And in heaven we meet, I'll hold you and love you, And kiss your sweet cheeks. Jesus will heal you, And make you all well. All His secrets to you He will tell. So in peace and joy, You will wait up above, Till the day I can hold you And shower you with love.
