Dawning of the Day I open up my window, savor the morning scent of dawn, red birds singing in the trees, as squirrels race 'round the lawn. The branches of the red buds so quietly are swaying, as sounds of children fill the air, eager to start playing. Their laughter just an echo, as I dance with all the trees, it is music to my ears, as I feel the springtime breeze. This is my time, a gift I give to me, the day is new, like spring bouquets, serene and it's so beautiful, Spring takes my breath away. |
