Invitation Only Cast down by the light of God, Betrayed by the years of faith! Accepted only in the fires of hell, I dwell... Mocking my existence, Laughing at my turmoil My savior, my god, this Holy Spirit Denies my birthright! How dare you! I lived my life for you, Confessed my sins to you, Gave you everything, And you gave me, Nothing... Nothing, but a false reality Of a holy land in heaven, With pearly gates, Only to be manned by horned demons, Acceptance based on invitation only! In which I had NONE! What more do you want? I ate your miasmatic fruit, This forbidden pleasure you tried to keep for yourself. What a scam you’ve pulled, Tricked me to be faithful, To worship you, and no one else, Only to be damned, and punished. Want your fruit back, well here it is Signed, Sealed and Delivered... FUCK YOU! |

Some strong feelings here, im sorry if I offended anyone. This just came at a pretty dark period of my life, and I feel it has some good poetic substance to it, and wanted to share it with you all. Maybe show that poetry is not all flowers and sunshine, but a way to express yourself. I hope you all pull some meaning and feeling from this.
