Old Man

Dirty old man sittin on tombstones. Spittin out garbage and grabbin his gut. Liberatin, calculatin, tearin down walls and buildin up backbone. Spittin up chunks of dirt and grime and neverminds  and nobodys. Hawkin up wads  of dirty old chew and bellyaches and scabs. Education and lack of it religion and unpaid bills whinin and cryin and buildin it up and tearin it down again. Searchin for days  in the woodland parks and the nights that ran into the days drinkin and druggin and poppin out needles lookin in windows and openin doors. Coughin and spewin the view. Walkin in circles chokin on memories dyin to finish the need. Emptyin buckets and buildin up backbone losin his blood and sellin his soul. Wipin his hands on the seat of his pants. Movin his feet in time to the dance.
