Stage Makeup

Hammer. Pound upon my lifeless heart deeds and creeds and melodies in eloquent speech you recite your lines as nail upon nail your scene is played and you wear your costumes draped in innocence wrapped around your statued frame. You know. Inside, in the secret places seen through nailed shut eyes. And, yet you hammer, still - mindless of the misses that have gone beyond the heart and damaged the souls of the audience.
