Shadow

  I wonder if you think of me at all   And if on sleepless nights you can recall   The color of my eyes, my voice and smile   And then perhaps you miss me for awhile?   Or has my face become a faded blur?   Does any thought remain of what we were   And flash, like bits of pictures, in your mind,   You brush aside and quickly leave behind?   And do you long to see me just once more,   Or am I but a shadow at your door?
