Blind Love

I opened up my heart to you, I gave you my secret desires, I spent hours, Thinking of precious things to give you, What words to say, And to love you everyday, Time went on,and i gave you my all, Now here am i,about to fall, Oh, what was i to do? Blinded by the light of love, I floated like a heavenly dove, Now here am i, A wounded bird, With nothing left to give. I opened up my heart to you, I allowed you to lead me, Considering the surrendering To be oh, so sweet. I gave you my soul,my being, My every thought, My every emotion, How could you make my life so bleak? What kind of man Would disregard, A pure and simple loving? One who is too blind From the start, To hold the gift.... And never part.
