Nightmare To Blessings

I heard the death hound howl outside. It made chills go up my spine. For your soul I knew was gone. God sent his angel to take you home. I shook inside, when the phone call came. I knew I'd never be the same. You had to go, I don't know why. All I can do, is sit here and cry. You are gone, this I know. God called you, to your new home. Oh the emptiness, that I feel. Oh God please, this can't be real. Then I awake and find you here. Through the tears, I hold you near. You said whats wrong, I heard you scream. I replied, don't worry, it was just a dream. I knelt down by, my bed that night. I thanked God for, his guiding light. Thank you God, it was just a dream. I thank you God, for everything.
