Insights and Memories

You were always there for me no matter what I did. Oh the precious memories, from when I was a kid. Your love was unconditional, thats something we all need. I remember all those nights you were down on your knees. I know things were not easy, you shed your share of tears. You prayed for God to guide us and help us through the years. You wanted only the best for us, this much I know is true. You gave us love and everything; we needed to make it through. You watched us grow to be adults and have families of our own. We loved you more than anything; this I'm sure you know. I watched you lay and suffer; there was nothing I could do. I did all I knew to do; I said a prayer for you. I miss you more everyday, one thing I know is true. You're prayers to God were answered, I know he'll see me through. We thank you mom for the love and everything you did. Everything from adulthood, to when we were just kids. You and dad are together now and walk down that street of gold. I know you see more beauty than our eyes can now behold.   So you and dad enjoy yourself while walking with the Lord. I know someday I'll meet you on that happy, peaceful shore.
