Never Mine

Persona perpetually affected, hidden wounds not expected. Caught in a storm of relations, no physical abuse, only of the mind. It controlled my existence. Oh please! Tell me, what did I do? Confrontation eventual, There was no love! my cry, she always set me aside. Tell me, What did I do? His look, so sad, he knew, his revelation rang true. One night, years ago, an unpleasant act of anger,  a child conceived.... The burden fell away. No wrong did I do.
