Over Said

"It's Over!" Have you heard that before? Hearing it doesn't make it so. He said it with meaning,  But it can't be true How can it be over if I still love you. "It's over for me! Just except it!" he said Saying it doesn't make it so, it's just not real. But I'm looking at the empty spot From which he escaped only seconds before. He left me standing, staring at the door It's over he'd said looking not the least destroyed He didn't love me, didn't love me anymore Just except it he'd said slamming the door "But I love you!" I cried as I slipped to the floor.

Additional Notes:
I tried something new this time I know that all does not rhyme only the last words of the last two lines of the first to stanzas and all in the last. If this is not permitted in proper poetry I guess I am about to find out. I wrote this from many feeling I experience in my marriage. It was I that left him at last but he had slammed that door many times with me slipping to the floor afterwards so I wrote it from my point of view being the one left behind.
