Differences

I'm really trying the best I can I give it my all, I swear I am. For years now it seems you've tried to rearrange my visions of life you thought needed a change. Think of tomorrow, forget today the future is ours or so you say. I don't understand, I just can't see without the past how a future can be. Yesterday is a memory, yet the wind blows now yes, there must be a way to touch it somehow. For once the moment is gone it can never return, a forgotten thought, a lesson learned. So I made a wish upon a shooting star to understand differences for what they are. And I pray to God everyday to slow down time before it slips away. Honey, I'm so trying to stand by you in all what you say and all which you do. Open your heart for soon you will find you have your dreams but I also have mine. Please don't try to change me for I will never you, peace will soon come after, this I swear is true. Yes, we are two people who don't always agree, natures teachings of how life is to be.
