Early Morning Blues

Woke up this morning with an oversized head stuggled to my feet but fell back in bed. Memories are all fuzzy my eyes are still red I want to get up but lie there instead. I try to remember I'm still confused I'm just torturing myself with all of this booze. Feeling sorry for myself yea, I got the blues what does it matter got nothing to lose. Got to get it together got out of this hole I'll find the answers by searching my soul. Got to take charge get back in control quittings the first step or so I am told. My head is throbbing can't take the pain and going cold turkey is really insane. I see it all clearly my reasons so plain I need a drink to loosen my brain. Just this one shot and no more I vow it takes off the edge I feel better now. My troubles have faded the music's up load it's time to party get drunk and be proud.
