Dawn The animals are quiet As they settle down Mothers sing softly To their playful bundles of love The wind sighs As a bird stirs For they wait for the sun To show its rosy face And for the dawn to come With the peace of the day To settle in And life to stir From within the forest As the light touches them With the love Of a mother |
