numbers - ONLY numbers One (born of one) one hundred eleven (airplane disaster off Nova Scotia) two hundred twenty nine (airplane murder over Scotland) numbers 6 million (Jews murdered in WW 2) one hundred and sixty eight (innocents murdered in Oklahoma) Millions upon millions (The Crusades and World Wars) numbers meaning nothing Now they mean something Does god live in the ocean? Then the sky opened up The sun shone through One of those sunshines Where the rays are separate and distinct And if god was looking, which he probably was He could have parachuted down In glorious fashion To save the earth from weeping All those numbers! Bosnia, Croatia, Africa The earth is trembling with spilled blood, And the cries of the innocent, And still there is no god With a parachute. |
Additional Notes:

lives against humanity all for the sake of a cause.
