The Fathers Wish

In the times I held you in my arms  My heart was always humbled Watching you stumble with sounds  Of baby babble still lingering my ears  In sleeping dreams fears you steered  The way to lay beside me From tricycle to bikes and  Spills filled with thrills I always seen in you  The me trailing and smiling With feelings filled hugs as you tugged  At my neck to heal the scrapped knees Or “Please, please” as you wanted to be  Wild and free Giving you my best wishes in giving kisses  Seems like yesterday it was sharing home work Now we share our homes work My want for you to always know  I hold you in my dreams   As you fulfilled my every command of god  When this fathers wish came true I got you...
