Just enough Just enough A child screams at a tiresome mother “Its not fair!”, “Make another!” Mother tries, and mother cries She just cant teach a child that’s stubborn. Child grows up, learns a lot, Begins to realize what she’s got. Mother loves her, has tried to be, The perfect mom, but child didn’t see. Girl leaves home, is on her own, Begins to see her love has grown. Misses mom, misses dad, Now she knows what she had. The pain she feels is much to bear, But now she knows that parents care. She wishes she had been more kind, Listened earlier, learned to mind. Mom and Dad, she hopes someday Will know her thanks with what she’ll say. Words arent that much, and portraying feelings is tough. When they’re heartfelt, they’re just enough. |
