The Girl on the Flying Trapeze

She loops and wheels high above my clenched counter intuition my white lips stretched into a mirthless grin She vaults beyond her gravity-- above no safety net no antidotes or morality epigrammes about feckless plunges into blind safety split seconds above my quaking bowells and I wonder  if anyone else would wait for her ultimate denuement.
