Farewell

To a Drill Sergeant who was      to say the least- very swell. The second platoon      bids thee one mighty FAREWELL! You helped us to laugh,      told us never to lie You told us the "White Pony"      meant we'd all surely die! You gave us responsibility      which helped us to grow, And when we screwed up      you really let us know! However, through all of the "Fun"      and through all of the "Pain" The fact:  We could trust you      would always remain. For though not a tear      will be shed on your part You'll always be with us      somewhere deep in our heart. Dedicated to: Drill Sergent Jeremiah Morris Christopher T. Moore August 8, 1990
