Poetic Injustice

Sonnet, epic, free verse, or haiku? I'm really confused..                    Wow- What to do?                                    I must construct some lyrics with a scheme Create a style with some interesting theme  Phrases that flow in perfect time Some could wander, some could rhyme Some poets consume you with intellectual flair But looking up words makes me pull out my hair! Structure and meter are not my forte.. So.. I'll critique others now and copy their way! Ooh - I shouldn't repeat this word twice! Just once in this stanza should suffice! Imagery, couplet, iambic and more - It's stressing me out though..                       of this I am sure! My technique is bizarre, but I'm planting a seed.. My critics all expect something worthy to read! Maybe I'll resort to my old "Seuss-like" style It's ordinary, but classic..                      simpler to rhyme for awhile! Alas -  I've created!  Sorry it's a bit unkempt! But mull it over, will you?                 ..give me credit for my attempt? It's formless, it's pointless, I'm clueless, it's true!                         So.. YOU write the poem..                                  and I'll critique YOU!
