Hope

Sitting here alone,      from the sky raindrops fall. Is there no one to hear      my heart's lonely call? Is that a raindrop on my cheek      or a tear shed in pain? If only I could find you      than surely I'd explain... How my eyes burn with tears-      how I long for your love; Am I searching for a miracle,      a miracle from above? If only I could be sure      that what I search for is real, Than no longer would despair      be all that I feel. But hope above all      I must remember to keep If in the end, true love-      is to be that which I reap! Christopher T. Moore June 27, 1990
