To Travel in Daylight

That  I am here and others   thick with planning lunch in Rome suggests a  sort of fairness for their  years of compromise they will return with souvenirs  and kodacolor slides while I,  pied in the  sunrise fondle pussy willows suckle morning  glories, force  the  dry spot on the  meadow alive with   watering I have been  where  the Sun came to red curtained  brothel windows throbbing her brilliance into corners  into walls now  she is here beside me burning naked in the desert  and we rise together gladdened for the wakening alive
